Jump onto the next highest platform until you reach the top one. Continue following it, until you are able to jump on. You want to get on the highest moving platform so head left and keep jumping up until you can see either the bottom moving platform or the middle one. There are three moving platforms, however they are hard to spot because they only move when they are visible on screen. You will be back outside on the surface of Zebes. Head to the far left of the room and enter the blue hatch. Once you reach the end, grab the Missile Tank and exit the way you came. Make your way across the conveyer belts dodging the sparks above and below, shoot the robots blocking your path to force them into openings below, and continue to the right. After shooting all of the hatches, enter the one at the far right of the room. Before leaving the room, make sure to shoot all of the hatches that are flashing so that way you don't have to kill all of the enemies in the room again if you don't want to. Immediately dispose of the enemies to either side of Samus then proceed to eradicate all enemies from the room. Proceed upwards using the green platforms until you reach a blue hatch overhead. Overhead there will be some cracked tiles, shoot these to reveal a passageway. Make your way up the green stairs until you can go no further. Enter the middle one and grab the Super Missile Tank in the center of the room. Once you reach the end of the room use a Super Bomb reveal three passageways, two of which are fake. If a robot prevents you from proceeding forward, shoot it to make it move. Grab the Super Missile Tank and leave.īomb the wall opposite this hatch to enter a hidden passage, make your way to the end of the room carefully avoiding the spikes and shooting enemies. Leave the Save Room and head down to the very bottom and enter the blue hatch to your left. Look at your map and head upwards to the Save Room to save your progress. Head up through the blue hatch in the center of the room to the area we visited earlier. Proceed forward to the far left of the room and enter the blue hatch, you will enter a map room. If they get in your way shoot to make them move faster-they are harmless. Use the Ice Beam to freeze and destroy the floating enemies and dodge the robots. When you exit, there will be robots walking around and several floating molecule-like enemies. Exit through the blue hatch you used to enter. NOTE: Like with other enemies you can shoot the blue flame-like entities to regenerate health and missiles if shot.Īfter the battle with Phantoon the power will come back on. Wait for it to stand still and open its eye then hit with a Super Missile or Missile. Use the Morph Ball to dodge the blue flame-like attack. The blue flames that are dropped by Phantom only become dangerous when they hit the floor so until then you can jump through them. When this happens, avoid the flame attack in Morph Ball form and wait for it to reappear, then attack. Phantoon will occasionally become invisible during the battle. Note: Do not use Super Missiles, they will send it into a rage and make the battle much much harder, highly recomended not to use them. The more damage you inflict, the quicker it will move so take care not to get hit. This boss will cause damage by either coming in contact with Samus or firing blue-flame like entities. When the eye opens, shoot it with a Super Missile or Missiles until it is destroyed then enter the blue hatch which is revealed. There will be a door before Samus with an eye-like enemy in front.
